Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Physiotherapy

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Physiotherapy Research Fellow to join our team at La Trobe University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy research and a proven track record of publishing high-quality research papers.
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term position for 3 years, working on a research fellowship funded by Margaret Nayler's bequest. The fellow will work closely with the Physiotherapy Discipline Lead and the Physiotherapy Research Coordinator to identify priorities for coordinating and implementing a program of research aligned with the aims of the fellowship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality research in physiotherapy scholarship of learning and teaching
- Develop and implement research projects aligned with the fellowship's aims
- Collaborate with staff and students from diverse backgrounds
- Prepare research proposals and ethics submissions
- Develop and maintain a strong research profile
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant area
- Strong research potential, demonstrated by publications and conference presentations
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively with staff and students
- Experience in research design and funding applications
- Registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
