Postdoctoral Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Swinburne University of Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Wellcome Trust-funded Tipping Point project, which aims to investigate relapse prediction in individuals with bipolar disorder using objective measurements of sleep and circadian parameters through actigraphy.
The role involves overseeing daily project operations, including staff and participant recruitment, data collection, and progress reporting. The Fellow will also contribute to the project's design and analysis, collaborate with lived experience experts, and produce high-quality research outputs. Additionally, the Fellow will gain experience in supervising students and exploring new research questions.

About YouTo be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in research methods relevant to mental health, particularly clinical trials or prospective observational studies. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to develop a good rapport with participants, investigators, and project staff.
Other key requirements include the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as well as a working knowledge of ethical principles relevant to conducting research with clinical populations.
QualificationsA PhD in psychology or other relevant discipline, and/or other relevant qualifications and experience, are essential for this role.
