Job Title: HSEQ Advisor

Fleetwood Australia exists to create innovative spaces for people to thrive. They aim to be the leader in reimagining sustainable spaces and have a clear strategy to build, transform, and grow their organization.

They design, manufacture, and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial, and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Their recreational vehicle work includes servicing, as well as manufacturing and distributing leading products.

About the Role:

The HSEQ Advisor will promote, support, and drive the safety culture of Fleetwood's building and RV solutions. The role will be based at their Crestmead office with travel required across their sites.

  • Develop and format high-quality documents, presentation materials, training materials, and internal and external reports for stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and review of OHS strategies, policies, and procedures that support Fleetwood's OHSE objectives.
  • Ensure effective use of MYOSH and other internal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state occupational health and safety legislation and Australian standards.
  • Recognize when established policy, procedures, and processes are no longer appropriate to new and changing situations and make recommendations to the HSEQ manager for changes to address ongoing needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments for all relevant Fleetwood operations.
  • Develop SWMS, SOP compliance, and review chemical risk assessments.
  • Assist the HSEQ manager and compliance manager to implement and maintain the WHSE system audit program.
  • Conduct worksite inspections and audits on Fleetwood workplaces and construction sites.
  • Assess contractor safety plans and actively monitor contractor safety performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and review actions raised from inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits in MyOSH.
  • Participate in incident reports and investigations and make recommendations on corrective action as required.
  • Maintain the incident database, analyze data, and discuss outcomes with Fleetwood.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong generalist HSEQ experience and the ability to provide advice to Fleetwood managers and employees.
