Job Title: HSEQ Advisor

This is a senior role that requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO systems and compliance in high-risk industries.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and continuously improve ISO Management Systems (45001, 9001, 14001)
    • Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and support incident investigations
    • Manage document control systems, ensure version control, and support procedural reviews
    • Coordinate and deliver HSEQ training, inductions, and awareness programs
    • Prepare reports, manage corrective actions, and maintain risk registers
    • Support Project Managers in project administration tasks including documentation, risk assessments, and claims preparation
    • Maintain records of licences, inductions and training
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive compliance and continuous improvement

This role plays a key part in ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 45001 (OHS), ISO 9001 (Quality), and ISO 14001 (Environmental) systems, while supporting project teams with documentation and systems performance.

We are looking for a qualified professional with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, Quality Management, or related discipline
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role within construction, HVAC, or mechanical services
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards
  • Experience using systems like SharePoint, Aconex, or Hammertech
