Job Opportunity: HSEQ Professional

This role involves managing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) functions while supporting project teams with documentation and systems performance.

You will play a key part in ensuring ongoing compliance with international standards ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving these systems.

  • Establish and maintain HSEQ management systems to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement
  • Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and support incident investigations to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage document control systems, including version control, and support procedural reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs, inductions, and awareness initiatives to enhance team knowledge and skills
  • Prepare reports, manage corrective actions, and maintain risk registers to track and mitigate potential risks
  • Support Project Managers in project administration tasks, including documentation, risk assessments, and claims preparation
  • Maintain accurate records of licenses, inductions, and training to ensure regulatory compliance

Key Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree or certification in Work Health and Safety, Quality Management, or related field
  • 5 years' experience in a similar HSEQ role within construction, HVAC, or mechanical services industries
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards
  • Experience using systems like SharePoint, Aconex, or Hammertech
