Position Overview: Registered Nurse in Aged Care

As a Registered Nurse at Zonda, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care that caters to the individual needs of our residents. Your role will focus on empowering residents to maintain their independence and enjoy fulfilling lives. You will also serve as a mentor and support for your colleagues, fostering a collaborative and caring environment.

Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, you will engage in various projects and responsibilities, collaborating closely with the Clinical Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Consultant, and other team members. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Offer clinical guidance and support to the Residential Aged Care Team as needed.
  2. Utilize resources and equipment efficiently and responsibly.
  3. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to meet the care needs of residents.
  4. Deliver outstanding customer service to residents, ensuring their satisfaction.
  5. Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with other service providers and healthcare professionals.
  6. Comply with the Aged Care Code of Conduct and the Charter of Care Recipients' Rights and Responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  1. Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  2. Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  3. At least 12 months of experience post-registration.
  4. Current CPR Certification.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
  7. Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  8. Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
  9. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  10. Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  11. Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
