About the Role

As a Fleet Operations Strategist, you will lead our fleet operations across Queensland, overseeing a diverse portfolio of operational mobile and fixed assets. Your expertise in fleet management will drive efficiency and productivity, ensuring compliance with registration, safety, and statutory standards.

  • Develop business cases to drive fleet efficiency, collaborating with stakeholders to analyse operating performance.
  • Manage fleet operations to ensure registration, safety, and statutory standards are met.
  • Monitor fleet insurance claims and oversee repairs to guarantee compliance.
  • Implement productivity efficiencies to enhance fleet availability and consistency across the state.
  • Provide expert advice on fleet management issues, risk, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse operating performance to develop business cases for fleet efficiency.
  • Manage fleet operations to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee fleet insurance claims and monitor repairs to ensure standards are met.
  • Implement productivity improvements to enhance fleet availability.
  • Offer expert guidance on fleet management challenges, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of motor trade or fleet management principles, including maintenance planning, utilisation rates, and serviceability.
  • Experience in project management, data analysis, and business case development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of personal resilience and accountability.
