Job Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and managing control room operations to ensure all systems are operational and secure;
- Providing exceptional concierge services, addressing client needs and inquiries with professionalism;
- Conducting regular foot patrols to maintain security and safety across the premises;
- Interacting with the public and clients in a courteous and effective manner;
- Adhering to directives from management and working collaboratively within a team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be an Australian Citizen;
- A valid Victorian Security License – Control Room Endorsement is advantageous;
- Cert II in Security Operations (Or Higher);
- The ability to work a 24*7 rotating roster;
- Willingness to complete the NDIA Security check pack and AGSVA Defence NV1 pack;
- Previous experience in a control room environment;
- Experience in a concierge or reception role;
- Proficient with medium-level computer skills and software applications;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with the public and clients;
- Ability to follow instructions and incorporate feedback from management;
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment;
- A strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality service.
