About the RoleThe Security Control and Response Officer is a senior security position responsible for monitoring, advising, and overseeing operational procedures.
This role requires a strong knowledge of security operations and effective leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and building relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing and identifying operational requirements and changes as requested by management and/or clients
- Responding to out-of-hours communication requirements and rostering/staffing duties
- Managing employee-related matters, conflict, and disciplinary issues
- Providing advice and guidance to security staff and collecting and recording data from operational aspects
- Ensuring employees are fit to perform duties, monitoring clock-in and off times, and completing rostering duties
- Attending meetings and participating in regular supervision, staff meetings, and performance appraisals
- Customer service experience and excellent communication skills
- Confident interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong report writing skills and professional personal presentation
- Exceptional work attendance and proven experience in conflict resolution and asset protection
- A current and valid Security License and advanced computer literacy
