About the Role
The Security Officer - Campus Protection position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence while remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team. Key duties include:
- Conducting foot patrols of the campus;
- Escorting individuals around the campus;
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required;
- Directing and assisting individuals to navigate the campus;
- Writing reports in response to incidents;
- Communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current Victorian Security Licence;
- Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations;
- Current Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR;
- Current drivers licence;
- Full Australian Working Rights;
- Working With Childrens Check (or willing to obtain);
- Availability to work a rotating roster.
