Job Overview

This key role oversees day-to-day site operations, collaborating closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality housing projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage all on-site activities, trades, and subcontractors
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects in line with contract, program, budget, and quality objectives
  • Maintain strict compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS), building codes and regulations, and company standards
  • Leverage leadership skills to conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and safety audits
  • Promote defect management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain effective communication channels with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • 5–10+ years' experience managing construction sites, preferably within social housing or multi-residential projects ($1–3m range)
  • Trade or construction management background (Cert IV or higher)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors to meet project timelines
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes, OHS requirements, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Holding current certifications in White Card, First Aid Level 2 & CPR, and valid driver's licence
