We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Site Operations Manager at our Victorian Wind Farm Site.
This position provides critical on-the-ground support to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely execution of site activities, including contractor supervision, technical inspections, and stakeholder liaison.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day wind farm site operations and maintenance, supervising site contractors, and coordinating all plant field activities.
In addition, they will perform local and remote operations of the wind farm and substation, including High Voltage (HV) switching, and ensure compliance with site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols and company safety policies.
Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, audits, and monitoring operational performance metrics, liaising with the Network Service Provider and Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) regarding plant operations, and establishing and maintaining good relations with landowners, local contractors, and community leaders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A strong commitment to safety and compliance is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work collaboratively with various teams.
- A willingness to travel to other office locations and sites as needed is also a plus.
- BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF WIND FARM OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE IS A PLUS
