Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Junior Site Operations Manager.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day wind farm site operations and maintenance.
  • Serve as the local point of contact for plant outages, emergencies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Supervise site contractors and coordinate all plant field activities.
  • Perform local and remote operations of the wind farm and substation, including High Voltage (HV) switching.
  • Ensure compliance with site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols and company safety policies.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and monitor operational performance metrics.
  • Liaise with the Network Service Provider and Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) regarding plant operations.
  • Establish and maintain good relations with landowners, local contractors, and community leaders.
  • Monitor and report on plant performance, including wind and ambient conditions, SCADA reports, and maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in emergency response efforts and site readiness planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Willingness to travel to other office locations and sites as needed.
  • Basic understanding of wind farm operations and maintenance is a plus.

About This Role

As a Junior Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in daily operations, maintenance coordination, and safety compliance of our Victorian Wind Farm Site.

You will work closely with the Operations team, Construction team, and HSE team to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of site activities.
