Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality output.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and optimize existing production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Design and implement new project equipment and improve existing processes to meet specific production requirements.
  • Analyze data from process production to identify areas for improvement and lead continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop and upgrade process capability, tooling and machine performance for yield improvement, safety, cost and productivity.
  • Test and approve new materials introduced into the cable manufacturing process and investigate non-conforming materials and/or processes.
  • Investigate customer complaints jointly with QA department.
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions including technical support regarding the cable manufacturing process.
  • Train and guide operators on safe working practices and methodologies.
  • Maintain and follow quality standards in production according to company policies and regulations.
  • Oversight of processes and working to maintain optimization of the production line.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in a similar position within mechanical, process or plastics engineering.
  • Able to design, operate and implement process improvements to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
  • Proven work experience in process engineering.
  • Creativity and Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
  • Able to engage effectively with stakeholders across the business from operations to board room.
  • Proven team member who can maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with colleagues and customers.
