This group are an accredited certificate provider in the energy market focussed on activity in NSW and VIC. They provide the technical certificate creations and backend compliance directly to the regulator for their installations of heat pump, air-con, lighting plus much more.

**The position**

This is a unique role in the organisation as their
**Product Manager** for mainly for Domestic Air Conditioning. You will be developing new products, enhancing existing products and getting products compliant and approved with the Energy market regulators.
- Developing brand new products for Domestic Air Conditioning
- Enhancing exisiting products in Air Conditioning / HVAC
- Designing new products at bigger capacities and sizes
- Liaising with manufacturing partners
- Getting products approved from the industry regulators
- Selecting manufacturing partners for product creation
- Ensuring manufacturers can meet industry standards
- Designing unique products with a competitive edge
- Working alongside senior management and directors
- Traveling overseas on short trips to China sometimes (not often) to meet manufacturing partners and aid in product development

**The experience necessary**:
To be considered for this role you must have experience doing Product Design or Management within the Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU), RET or any related schemes nationally.

You will ideally have experience in getting products approved with the regulator, aiding in manufacturing partner management and overall creation of products with a point of difference.

**The main requirements are**:

- Must have experience and knowledge Energy Efficiency markets
- Experienced in designing, developing and enhancing energy products
- Understand what needed for approval of product by the regulators
- Ability to make products with a point of difference
- Detail oriented and analytical skills
- Can travel overseas for short periods
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team and staff
- Strong technical skills for product design
- Computer and software skills
- Product areas could be heat pump, air conditioning, lighting, solar, hvac, ihd, heers, ipart or other related parts of the energy scheme
