Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients with disabilities, promoting their independence and overall well-being;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the evolving needs of our clients;
  • Engage in social support and recreational activities that foster a sense of community and belonging among our clients;
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to policies and procedures, identifying potential hazards, and reporting incidents as needed;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in HACC or equivalent qualification in aged care or disability support;
  • A current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate;
  • Previous experience working in the disability or aged care sector, preferably in a frontline support role;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds;
  • A positive attitude, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
