Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Financial Analyst to join our Workforce Planning team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and forecasting workforce needs to drive successful performance across our retail network.

About the Role

The Business Financial Analyst - Workforce Optimization will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data on store labor metrics, including sales trends, foot traffic, and historical staffing patterns. You will create accurate labor forecasts based on business needs, partner with field teams to develop staffing plans that align with sales forecasts and business goals, and identify opportunities to optimize labor allocation, scheduling practices, and staffing levels to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data on store labor metrics, including sales trends, foot traffic, and historical staffing patterns.
  • Create accurate labor forecasts based on business needs.
  • Partner with field teams to develop staffing plans that align with sales forecasts and business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize labor allocation, scheduling practices, and staffing levels to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate the impact of labor decisions on store profitability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor costs, productivity, and revenue to pinpoint areas for improvement and cost savings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in workforce planning, labor analytics, or a similar area.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights from data analysis.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as a generous yearly product allowance, wellness amenities, and global volunteering opportunities through our OneSight Foundation.
