We are seeking a Senior Settlements Officer to oversee our trading operations, ensuring smooth and efficient settlement processes.

This role involves guiding the team, leading process improvements, and maintaining best practice oversight in our middle office and treasury departments.

  • Oversight of OTC, derivatives, and structured product settlements is key to success in this position.
  • Ensuring settlement processes are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex settlement issues demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
  • Mentoring settlement analysts helps lift capability within the team.
  • Reconciling trades, investigating breaks, and resolving discrepancies quickly showcases attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with counterparties, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues highlights excellent communication skills.
  • Maintaining and improving SOPs, SLAs, and risk controls is crucial for process improvement and automation.
