Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Settlement Officer to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading business.

As a Settlement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day settlements, guiding the team, and leading process improvements that boost accuracy, efficiency, and client experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing settlements for OTC, derivatives, and structured products.
  • Ensuring settlement processes are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex settlement issues.
  • Supporting and mentoring settlement analysts to lift capability.
  • Reconciling trades, investigating breaks, and resolving discrepancies quickly.
  • Working with counterparties, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintaining and improving SOPs, SLAs, and risk controls.
  • Driving process improvements, automation, and better reporting.
