Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that drives policy and strategy development across the State's insurance and care system.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality commercial and financial policy advice, supporting various policy areas and projects. This role offers a unique chance to enhance financial performance and policy outcomes within the icare and across the State's insurance and care system.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic commercial and financial policy advice to support the Treasurer and Minister for Work Health and Safety in driving government priorities across the State's insurance and care system.

Support various policy areas and projects by providing expert analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance and policy outcomes.

Requirements:

A tertiary qualification in economics, finance, public policy/administration, law, commerce, or a related field.

Relevant experience within government and understanding of government processes.

Ability to develop expertise in insurance and risk policy, drawing from commercial, economic and/or regulatory frameworks.
