Accor is a leading hospitality group, and we are currently seeking a talented Finance Officer to manage our payroll and accounts payable operations. This role offers the flexibility of either full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments effectively.

Position Summary

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll processes for our esteemed property, ensuring that payroll services are executed accurately and efficiently. You will serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries and manage employee status updates. Your duties will also include maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and contributing to significant payroll-related initiatives.

Additionally, you will handle accounts payable responsibilities, which involve verifying the accuracy of invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring vendor information is current. Your tasks will encompass coding invoices, reconciling financial records, preparing payment schedules, managing supplier statements, and overseeing accruals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer payroll functions with precision and adherence to regulations.
  • Address payroll-related questions and manage employee changes effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and industry standards.
  • Verify and authorize invoices while maintaining vendor records.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs and manage financial reconciliations.
  • Contribute to payroll projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as Sun, Human Force, and Wage Easy is advantageous.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
