Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Management
    • Manage the payroll function for our property, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll services.
    • Handle employee status changes and respond to payroll queries.
    • Maintain compliance with Awards and regulations.
  • Accounts Payable
    • Oversee accounts payable by verifying invoice accuracy and securing proper authorization.
    • Keep vendor information up to date and manage supplier statements.
    • Reconcile ledgers, prepare payment runs, and handle accruals.
  • Financial Operations
    • Contribute to important payroll-related projects and initiatives.
    • Provide exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial matters.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including Sun, Human Force, and Wage Easy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
