Medical Office Coordinator

Seeking a skilled Medical Office Coordinator to manage patient bookings and coordinate clinical services.
The Role:- Manage patient bookings using MOSAIQ, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Conduct pre-admissions and health fund eligibility checks via IBA system.
- Prepare and distribute necessary paperwork and education packs for patients.
- Liaise with pharmacy team for chemotherapy drug verification.
- Coordinate tests and scans for patients in a timely manner.
- Process admissions and discharges efficiently using IBA system.
- Support the nursing and medical teams with reception and administrative duties.
- Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required, with a compassionate approach.
- High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment are necessary.
- Proficiency in MOSAIQ, IBA, and deLacy systems is desired.
- Experience in oncology/infusion or specialist rooms is an advantage.
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols is mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team is crucial.
