Medical Imaging Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Medical Imaging Department as an Imaging Services Coordinator. This role will play a critical part in ensuring timely access to medical care for patients.
About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic clerical team that rotates through front reception and a back-of-house clerical office
- You will be responsible for coordinating patient bookings for Medical Imaging services, including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Positron Emission Tomography (MR PET)
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience using health computer applications, including referral management systems, electronic medical records and patient demographic systems
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced administration role within the health sector
- Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service to patients and families
- A strong understanding of patient flow and process improvement principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
