About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our Science Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing educational leadership and direction to our Science team, promoting a positive and caring learning environment, and contributing to the College's Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational leadership and direction to the Science team, promoting a positive and caring learning environment.
  • Contribute to the College's Strategic Plan, participating in decision-making and implementing policies and programs.
  • Develop and promote the school's vision for academic success, encouraging staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
  • Build capacity and cohesion amongst staff, taking an active role in the ongoing development and implementation of a positive and caring learning environment across the Science Department.

Requirements

  • Exemplary teaching, learning, and behaviour management practices.
  • Outstanding knowledge of the Department of Education's Teaching for Impact documentation.
  • Highly efficient communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage the Science Department's resources.
