About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at Curtin University. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the Early Moves project, a groundbreaking initiative that aims to determine if General Movements can serve as an early biomarker for babies at risk of cognitive delay.

As the Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering the project, including financial and grant management, project resourcing, and the coordination of assessment clinics. You will work closely with the Early Moves project and research team to ensure the smooth operation of this important initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate program delivery and operations
• Develop and maintain program resources
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure program outcomes are meeting their requirements
• Monitor and evaluate program performance and provide reports to the line manager
• Monitor program budget and provide advice to the line manager
• May provide leadership and guidance to staff, through effective talent management, career planning, performance reviews and development
• Write and prepare project reports and related documentation

Requirements

• Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience;
• Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement program activities;
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross cultural sensitivity;
• Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports and other relevant documentation;
• Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting differences, leading, and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals;

Desirable

• Experience with project coordination or management in a health or research environment;
• Advanced computer skills, ideally including experience in database and data management;
