Site Supervisor

Overview

Zinfra is a leading partner in the design, build, operation and maintenance of Australia's energy infrastructure. We deliver essential services to bring energy to our communities safely and reliably, while powering the nation's energy transition.

We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to coordinate and deliver electrical works across the ACT. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical trade background who enjoys being out in the field, working closely with crews, and ensuring jobs are scoped, planned, and delivered safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare work packages for field crews, ensuring all required resources, subcontractors, and safety measures are in place before work begins
  • Coordinate and deliver work packages to crews, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project timelines and safety standards
  • Lead crews on-site throughout the day by actively guiding and supporting them to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Lead daily pre-starts on site to set the tone for safety, clarity, and productivity, ensuring everyone is aligned and ready to deliver
  • Liaise with the Construction Manager and other stakeholders to plan outages, manage access, and support smooth project delivery
  • Ensure quality assurance and ITP processes are followed, and that all completed works are accurately captured for invoicing and close-out
  • Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and performance expectations
  • Support compliance with safety and environmental standards, conducting site checks and promoting a safety-first culture
  • Use your field knowledge to identify risks, solve problems, and keep projects moving efficiently

About You

You've got a solid electrical background and a strong understanding of what it takes to get the job done right in the field. You're organised, safety-focused, and confident working with crews, clients, and contractors to keep things on track.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An electrical trade qualification (essential)
  • At least 5 years' experience in the electrical industry
  • Previous experience in planning, scoping, and/or leading field crews
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor disciplines and job requirements
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to following processes and ensuring quality
  • A current driver's licence
