Neuropsychologist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to lead assessment and cognitive remediation in youth mental health.

The successful candidate will work with children and young people aged 12–24 with complex and persistent mental health and neurodevelopmental challenges.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting diagnostic assessments for IDD, ADHD, SLD and ASD in complex cases
  • Providing tailored neuropsychological evaluations and evidence-based interventions
  • Leading cognitive remediation programs and delivering group and individual treatments
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and community services to support young people's recovery journeys

Requirements:

  • Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology, or eligibility to progress to endorsement
  • Demonstrated skills and clinical experience in neuropsychological assessment, interpretation and report writing in child, adolescent and youth settings
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships
