Child and Youth Clinical Neuropsychologist Role

This role focuses on providing expert, compassionate care through comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for young people with moderate to severe mental health challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments for IDD, ADHD, SLD, and ASD in complex cases
  • Provide tailored neuropsychological evaluations and evidence-based interventions
  • Lead cognitive remediation programs and deliver group and individual treatments
  • Offer clinical supervision to students and upskill colleagues in neuropsychological assessment
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and community services to support young people's recovery journeys

Requirements:

  • Licence: NSW Driver's licence (Current Class C)
  • Qualification: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Registration: Full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology
