
Community Liaison Specialist

We are seeking an Engagement Consultant to join our team. As an Engagement Consultant, you will play a vital role in connecting individuals with disability with meaningful employment and support services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with participants, families, schools, planners, Support Coordinators, and community organisations to build business and attract new participants. You will also deliver NDIS employment supports to our participants, promote APM Futures at local expos and events, and manage and convert leads from APM's marketing and service centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with NDIS participants, families, schools, planners, Support Coordinators, and community organisations to build business and attract new participants
- Deliver NDIS employment Supports to our NDIS participants
- Promote APM Futures at local expos and events
- Manage and convert leads from APM's marketing and service centre
- Build networks with employers to create tailored employment opportunities
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and policies
- Maintain accurate records and deliver high-quality, person-centred service
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience in Community Services, Employment Services, or NDIS-related roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads
- Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- A commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Willingsness to complete a Criminal History Check
- Able to obtain a Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Able to successfully complete a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
- Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants
- Available to work full time Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
