The Role: Enrolled Nurse - Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA)The DOSA provides care to patients being admitted for theatre procedures, whether they are being admitted for a day procedure or for a longer stay. As an Enrolled Nurse in our DOSA, you will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, and problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes.
You will work across all areas of Day Surgery, including pre-operative and post-operative areas. This challenging and rewarding position will utilise your abilities and see you become a valued member of the team.
Requirements:- Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent
- Proven clinical experience in day of surgery
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
