About the Role
As an Emergency Nursing Specialist at Northern Beaches Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our Emergency Department.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate and provide hands-on nursing care, supervision, education, direction, and support for Enrolled Nurses (EN) and Assistants in Nursing (AIN).
- Provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their health care, rehabilitation, or end of life needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Post-graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards).
- Commitment to quality patient care.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
