Career Opportunities in Emergency Nursing
We are seeking enthusiastic and clinically experienced nurses to join our professional Emergency team. As an Emergency Nurse at Northern Beaches Hospital, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and world-class facilities, utilizing EMR (electronic medical records) and MEDCHART (medication management/administration) systems.
Your Role
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
- Coordinate and provide hands-on nursing care; supervision, education, direction, and support for Enrolled Nurses (EN) and Assistants in Nursing (AIN).
- Provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their healthcare, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Maintain a professional development portfolio with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Requirements
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Post-Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills

Northern Beaches Hospital offers a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
