Job DescriptionThe Sales Development Specialist plays a critical role in converting both inbound leads and outbound prospects into qualified sales opportunities for our Solution Sales Executives.
Establishing personal contact with prospective customer champions via phone, email, and social media, the Sales Development Specialist is responsible for introducing SAP LeanIX and understanding the prospect's current business situation.
This involves making calls, setting meetings, and being the face of the business for potential customers at the Enterprise-level.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed individual and team goals and metrics through both inbound and outbound prospecting efforts.
- Learn and understand how to use different prospecting databases and tools to identify key contacts and target accounts.
- Qualify opportunities to ensure they will convert into forecasted sales pipeline.
- Engage in training programs to gain expertise in SAP LeanIX's product offering and competitive landscape.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in business development and outbound prospecting within B2B SaaS environments.
- A strong track record of successfully qualifying leads and generating sales pipeline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Motivation and determination to accomplish tasks, with excellent time management abilities.
- Fluency in English language.
