Support Worker - Youth Focused Program

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people aged 12–25.

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide support and care to young people who reach out to us for help.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with young people and their families
  • Deliver interventions and coordinate care for mild to moderate mental health concerns
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop collaborative action plans
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide support through centre-based, outreach, or telehealth services
  • Be part of community engagement and youth-led initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Nursing
  • Registration as a Mental Health Counsellor or Psychotherapist (ACA Level 3+ or equivalent)
  • Skills in assessment, risk management, and therapeutic interventions
  • A natural ability to connect and communicate with young people
  • An understanding of trauma-informed care and a passion for early intervention
  • A Working With Children Check
