Clinical Audiologist Role

We are seeking a skilled audiologist or audiometrist to work across our hearing clinics in Wollongong, New South Wales.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss using various techniques including audiometric tests
  • Reporting results of assessments and tests in writing and referring clients to medical practitioners
  • Providing treatment solutions for hearing impairments including amplification devices medical interventions assistive listening devices and rehabilitation programs
  • Offering counselling advice and information to clients and their families as part of overall treatment
  • Developing and managing noise control and hearing conservation strategies
  • Providing treatment and management of age-related hearing disorders disabilities or acquired injuries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Audiology qualification from a university or TAFE
  • Membership eligibility with AudA or ACAud
  • Current QP number
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good team working skills
  • Ability to network with healthcare professionals
