Securitization & Trust Management Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading financial institution to identify a Securitization and Trust Management Professional to join their highly regarded Securitization team in Sydney. This role reports to the Head of Securitization and involves delivering accurate and timely securitization cashflow and investor reporting, trust financial accounting, and assisting the Senior Trust Manager and Head of Securitization to deliver timely and cost-effective securitization funded outcomes.

The key responsibilities include preparing monthly cashflow and collateral reports, monitoring pool parameters, month-end reconciliations, general ledger postings, and assisting with warehouse sales and term transactions. You will work with the Head of Securitization, Group Finance, and Treasury teams to ensure securitization transactions are compliant with accounting standards, prudential regulations, and trust documentation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end cashflow reporting, investor reports, RBA reporting, and rating agency reporting.
  • General ledger account and bank account reconciliation.
  • Monitor securitization compliance to prudential regulations.
  • Monitor the securitization status of Bank's on-balance sheet assets.
  • Select assets for securitization transactions.
  • Complete warehouse sales as directed.
  • Assist in the due diligence for each securitization transaction.
  • Process credit, product, and operational changes to the Head of Securitization.
  • Assist with arrangements for investor and rating agency reviews.
  • Assist in liaison with APRA, investors, rating agencies, trustee, lawyers, and accountants in relation to securitization matters.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a financial-related discipline with general accounting experience related to this role.
  • 3+ years' experience in securitization and/or trust management gained within either a trustee or securitization team with a bank or non-bank issuer.
  • Alternatively, your experience may have been gained in a Treasury team of a major banking or lending institution.
  • Advanced Excel and Access skills.
  • A strong desire to continue learning while maintaining a strong attention to detail combined with an ability to meet deadlines and deliver on responsibilities.
