Urban Planning and Infrastructure Economics Specialist

At KPMG, we are seeking an experienced Economist or Economic Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This role will play a key part in helping our clients make informed infrastructure investment decisions.
About the OpportunityThis challenging position will involve providing strategic advice to clients on planning and prioritizing infrastructure investments across various sectors, including transport, social infrastructure, land use, energy, and decarbonization. As an Economist or Economic Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking economic modelling and analysis, developing policies and strategies, and delivering feasibility studies and business cases for infrastructure investments.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and provide strategic advice to clients on infrastructure investment decisions.
- Undertake economic modelling and analysis to inform infrastructure investment decisions.
- Develop policies and strategies to support infrastructure investment decisions.
- Deliver feasibility studies and business cases for infrastructure investments.
As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as the chance to work with industry leaders and contribute to shaping your own career path.
