Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Tanuki Restaurant Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager and Sous Chefs
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to minimize waste and optimize costs
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Train and develop junior kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Chef in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking procedures and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $73,000 - $83,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. If you are a motivated and experienced Chef looking for a new challenge, please submit your application.
