Senior Athletic Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Athletic Physiotherapist to join our team at Athletes Authority Pty. As a key member of our rehabilitation program, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our elite athletes and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for athletes with a range of injuries and conditions
- Conduct initial athlete screenings and produce comprehensive handover reports to the performance team
- Lead follow-up consults for rehabilitation athletes, adapting treatment plans to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all athletes, including written and filmed documentation
- Generate engaging content on topics of interest to athletes and the wider sports community
- Collaborate with medical stakeholders, including surgeons and sports doctors, to ensure seamless care for athletes
- Focus on developing a leading, integrated sports physiotherapy program in the private sector
- Coordinate and deliver special projects, such as presentations and workshops, to students, interns, and external coaches
- Induct, coordinate, and manage sports trainer deployment amongst sports club affiliations to capture injured athletes for rehabilitation
- Manage student placements and deliver a 'wow' experience for students on placement
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a physiotherapist in a high-performance setting
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
- A competitive salary range of $80,000-$100,000 per year, including super contributions
