We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Store Manager. This role plays a pivotal part in the success of our stores, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Hardware Retail Industry & Building supplies industry, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a store/assistant store manager role. They will be able to lead, motivate and develop their team to achieve commercial targets, demonstrating an energetic approach in both sales and management.
- Culture and Leadership: Drive a culture that prioritizes amazing customer service, effective leadership and management of the team, leading, motivating, and developing staff to achieve commercial targets.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships with builders, suppliers, stakeholders, and the local community to drive business in the area.
- Operational Excellence: Manage store rosters, aligned with sales volumes and team members' leave, ensuring optimal staffing levels, oversee stock control, including ordering, stock transfers, and merchandising.
- Team Development: Recruit, onboard, and mentor staff as required, collaborate with multi-function teams and other store managers.
