About the role

Mareeba Leagues Club is seeking a talented and Experienced Chef to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time role based in Mareeba, QLD 4880. The experienced Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring a smooth-running kitchen operation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to exacting standards

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

• Assisting with menu planning and development

• Ensuring strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience

What we're looking for

• Significant experience as a Chef, ideally gained in a commercial kitchen environment

• Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

• Excellent time management, multitasking and organisational abilities

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Commercial Cookery qualification
