Role Overview

This role will maximise educational outcomes for students by providing assistance to Teachers to meet the learning goals of students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering support in classrooms, small groups and/or 1:1 scenarios.

  • Support high needs students with their physical needs, personal care needs (toileting and feeding), emotional needs and medical needs.
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Teachers in the delivery of learning programs.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and establish positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification or experience in education or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Prior experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
