Lead Assurance Specialist

The role of Lead Assurance Specialist is critical to the success of our sustainable energy development projects. We are seeking an experienced assurance professional to join our team and lead our assurance activities.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise in risk management, quality assurance, and safety protocols. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an assurance strategy aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee third-line defence assurance activities.
  • Lead the project review team through internal gates and external audits.
  • Evaluate and mitigate potential risks to ensure project continuity and success.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in assurance leadership positions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and risk management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical review panels or similar bodies.
