Job Title: Quality and Completions Manager

About the Project:

The CopperString 2032 project aims to connect Queensland's North-West Minerals Province to the national electricity grid. The initiative involves constructing approximately 840 kilometres of new transmission lines, including 500 kV, 330 kV, and 220 kV lines, as well as up to six new substation sites.

This exciting project has commenced, and we are seeking an experienced Quality and Completions Manager with 5-10 years of experience. The role will be based in Brisbane initially and will transition to site on a 15/6 FIFO roster.

The Quality and Completions Manager will lead and manage quality and completions systems and processes for the CopperString project, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and operational requirements while driving process improvements to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance systems to meet project objectives and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Evaluate and mitigate quality-related risks, monitor compliance, and address issues impacting project delivery.
  • Guide and support team members on quality assurance practices, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to foster a quality-focused culture and drive business improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (5-10 years) in quality and completions management within construction, mining, or energy sectors, with strong on-site exposure and process expertise.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, quality management, or project management, along with certifications such as Quality Lead Auditor, Advanced First Aid, and Work Safe Induction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proven ability in quality assurance, process analysis, and project management.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively lead teams and manage workloads.
