Construction Administrator Opportunities in Toowoomba

We are seeking an experienced Construction Contract Administrator to join our team at JP Smith. This role presents a unique opportunity for professionals looking to advance their careers with prominent firms based in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region.
Key Responsibilities- Create client and subcontractor contracts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of project terms and conditions;
- Support Project Managers with project coordination, providing timely and accurate information to ensure smooth project progression;
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other parties to maintain open communication channels and resolve any issues promptly;
- Evaluate tender responses, identifying the most suitable options for clients;
- Take minutes and follow up on meetings, guaranteeing that all actions and decisions are accurately recorded and implemented;
- Certify and process payment progress claims, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors;
- Process final payments, verifying that all invoices and expenses have been correctly settled;
- Maintain construction documents to a high standard, guaranteeing easy access to relevant information and facilitating efficient decision-making;
- Expertise in one or more areas, including contract administration, project coordination, and communication;
- Strong general administration skills, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and organization;
- Exceptional organizational skills, enabling the effective management of multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Able to identify ways to improve procedures, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and productivity;
- Ideal candidates will possess a tertiary qualification in a construction/property-related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in relevant principles and practices.
This is a competitive salary package offering a remuneration range between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
