Genetic Counselling Support Role

About the Position

This varied role includes provision of clinical and administrative support for various aspects relating to patient flow through the department, including intake calls, data entry, file preparation and making patient appointments.

  • Making intake calls to patients
  • FOLLOWING UP RESULTS AND REPORTS TO ENSURE ACCURATE INFORMATION FOR RISK ASSESSMENT AND COUNSELLING
  • Laboratory liaison for timely receipt of results

You will work collaboratively to ensure high levels of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

About You

We are seeking an individual who has recently completed a Master's degree in Genetic Counselling and has experience observing a clinical genetics unit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, time management and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and competent computer literacy.
