Our Pet Specialty Store is seeking a talented Sales Assistant to join our team in Lawnton, Queensland. This role will be working on a casual basis and involves providing exceptional customer service to pet owners.

Job Description:

We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for delivering an outstanding shopping experience to customers. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, processing sales transactions efficiently, and providing expert advice on our range of pet products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with their queries.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and display of products to create an engaging store environment.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required, including cash handling and inventory management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in a pet-related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
