We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Control Engineer to play a critical part in the success of our engineering business. As a key member of this team, you will lead and guide all support staff to align with daily operational priorities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Maintenance Control Engineer to join our team and manage the day-to-day support roles within the Maintenance Watch department. You will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure compliance control of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide all support staff to achieve daily operational goals
  • Manage the day-to-day support roles within the Maintenance Watch department
  • Provide daily compliance control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity
  • Engage and educate non-technical stakeholders throughout the business
Requirements:
  • Australian Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence in the Mechanical or Avionics category
  • B1 and/or B2 A320/321 or another Airbus type rating on CASA licence (essential)
  • B1 and/or B2 B787 or another Boeing type rating on CASA licence (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Watch, Heavy or Line Maintenance environment as an MCE or LAME
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of airline operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PART 42 / 145 regulatory framework
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products
  • Familiarity with TRAX, Skywise, SHM, ROCADE, AHM and MyBoeingFleet beneficial
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
