Guests can book a range of suites and apartments, enjoy the pool or book a private meeting space while at The Watson. Just 30 minutes from the famous wine region of the Barossa Valley and with an array of shopping, cafes and many festivals to experience there is no shortage of activities to keep you entertained during your leisure time.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all rooms, amenities, and communal spaces within the property are well-maintained and in excellent condition. This includes collaborating with a diverse team and encountering stimulating challenges that require innovative solutions.
This role requires you to be comfortable in a physical role, have a get-up-and-go attitude and be someone who won't stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner. You will need to be handy on the tools and have prior experience with property general maintenance and familiarity with preventative maintenance programs is a plus.
As Maintenance Assistant, you will also be expected to communicate effectively at all levels, from the General Manager, to guests and contractors working onsite. A flexible rotating schedule, including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required, is also necessary for this role.
